Sneak Peek: Dive into Valen's Reef (360 video) | Conservation International (CI)

Located in the easternmost reaches of Indonesia, the Bird’s Head peninsula is the global epicenter of marine biodiversity. Today home to vibrant, sprawling corals and a magnificent array of fish, just twelve years ago its ecosystem was being decimated by overfishing and other destructive practices. A decade-long conservation initiative has helped the local people protect these waters for the benefit of all humanity.
