I've had the new Panasonic Lumix GH5 firmware 2.0 for just over a week now thanks to the Lumix UK team for making this available to me!

Things that I love about the new firmware, of course the new HDR feature but you do need a much faster SD card to be able to record comfortably either a v90 or 300mbs would be perfect. I've noticed the auto focus has improved with this update. They also added the video guideline so you can have this displayed if you plan to add the cinema black bars in post.

My 95mbs SD card was too slow for the 400mbps but I still managed to record on it, it basically stops recording every 10 seconds or so and an error message pops up saying recording stopped due to memory card limitation.

Shot mostly handheld with GH5 + 12-35mm 2.8ii and 42.5mm 1.2 in 4k 422 10bit 400mbs 24 and 48p with a couple of shots in 1080p 180fps, no stabilisation in post. Movi M5 for the gimbal shots

Shots in the park were filmed on the Hybrid Log Gamma profile and the rest on Cine D. Timelapses shot in RAW, Grade done in premier again
