Rehearsing With Norbert Leo Butz For "Girls Girls Girls"

Hey Friends! I just finished a run of shows playing drums for Norbert Leo Butz. Norbert is a fantastic singer and story teller. His show "Girls Girls Girls" is a cabaret where he winds his story of trying to understand women with greek archetypes mixed with popular songs that support the stories. This show was originally done back in 2013 and what was ultimately what allowed me to move to NYC full time. Check out the Spotify link below to hear the 2013 album recording. Though I am blessed to work with fabulous musicians and technicians regularly, this particular group assembled for the Girls Girls Girls show holds the top spot in my heart. The footage that you are watching was intended to be little clips for Instagram. The sound is the natural sound from the room from behind the drum kit. This run had Alan Stevens Hewitt subbing for Adam DeAscentis on bass. We were also missing guitarist extraordinaire Jimmy Leahey from this rehearsal.
