These video expose the failure of Israel’s leaders, described as shepherds and watchmen who neglected their responsibility. Instead of protecting and guiding the flock, they pursued selfish gain, scattered the sheep, and remained silent in the face of danger. Ezekiel 34 portrays leaders who fed themselves and abandoned the weak, Jeremiah 23 condemns shepherds who destroyed and scattered God’s flock, and Isaiah 56:10 likens the watchmen to blind, mute dogs—unable or unwilling to warn of approaching threats.
Yet, in contrast to failed human leadership, God promises to intervene. He declares that He Himself will search for His sheep, gather the scattered, and raise up faithful shepherds. Ultimately, He points to the coming of the Righteous Branch, the Messianic King from David’s line, who will reign in justice and righteousness.
Together, these video highlight both the danger of corrupt leadership and the hope of God’s perfect Shepherd—fulfilled in word, the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep.
