'Public is the loser' if coverage is restricted in Tyler Robinson case

An attorney representing a coalition of nearly two dozen media outlets, including KUTV, said the public will see "a lot less information" on Tyler Robinson if his lawyers prevail over proposed coverage restrictions.

Jeff Hunt said an information deficit in the case against Charlie Kirk's accused killer could occur in three ways: fewer public court records, less access to court proceedings, and cameras being removed from the courtroom.

"And the public is the loser if that happens,” Hunt said a day after Robinson appeared in court, in person, for the first time.
