I have had the pleasure of experiencing Alberta's badlands not long ago, and I was so thrilled by the landscape and the history that I wanted to return. We recently embarked on a road trip to put together a little Badlands compilation.
This is the first video summing up out first section of our journey. This here is Writing On Stone provincial park. It is an area in the very southern tip of Alberta, near to the border of Montana. This is home to the Blackfoot nation. This is a beautiful landscape of hoodoo trails, coulees, and beautiful plains. There are areas here that are covered in petroglyphs and pictographs. There is so much history here.
In this video we share some of our experience of staying here for 3 days, hiking, experiencing the Milk River, and even got a guided tour from a Blackfoot nation's member. This is the second tour we've had the privilege of doing in this place.
This is an area that has a powerful energy right when you step into it.
