Kevin Geard demonstrates how a jet pump is removed from a Seadoo Spark in order to replace a damaged wear ring which is causing significant power loss when riding.
We upgrade the wear ring to a custom solid ring, which is ten times more durable than the OEM one, and impossible to shatter completely leaving you stranded on the water.
The example shows a Spark which has not had any prior servicing so the jet pump bolts are tougher to remove. Kevin shows how to treat the bolts on re-installation so it will be much nicer next time it has to come apart.
