Baghanis is a small farming community in Armenia’s Tavush Region, with a population of less than 1,000.
In order to boost the local economy, Armenia Fund is implementing vitally important agricultural projects here, including the construction of a new irrigation pipeline, which will expand the existing irrigation network by 2.4 kilometers, and the establishment of greenhouses for increased output.
The pipeline project is sponsored by the French-Armenian community, and the first four greenhouses were made possible with donations by Jorge Moroyan and Carlos Potikyan of Argentina.
