After hand-picking the grapes at River Haven, the journey is only just beginning. Every bottle that carries the River Haven label must reflect Noel Edmonds’ personal philosophy — a blend of harmony, respect for nature, and a touch of magic.
Noel introduces the concept of Umarmi — a rich, full-bodied Japanese expression that captures the depth and soul he believes a great wine should embody.
River Haven is a boutique operation, focused on quality over quantity. We even gave our vines a full year of rest to boost their strength and the richness of the yield. Hand-picking keeps us connected to the process — it’s less industrial, more intentional.
We enhance the soil naturally by planting flowers that feed it. The vineyard is irrigated from natural springs deep in the surrounding mountains, and as for what’s next? We’re exploring electroculture and even playing positive music to the vines — because we believe vibrations matter.
It’s these small, thoughtful touches that make a good wine… a great wine.
