Every four years, the Bitcoin network undergoes a significant event known as the “Halving”, during which the reward for mining new Bitcoins is halved.

Remarkably, this is also the first time in Bitcoin’s history that the cryptocurrency has reached an all-time high of $70,000, within a year before halving. To date, there have been three halving events, with the fourth expected to take place in April 2024.

In the past, Bitcoin halvings have been long-term bullish drivers for the cryptocurrency’s price.
