42 hrs. before our flight from US to Costa Rica we made an appointment for our rapid covid test (CVS or walgreens that is near to your place).

to get your QR code. They will ask you about it in the airport.
Try to bring $300 bill just in case but for our experience we just pay everything there using credit card coz its much cheaper.
When you arrive in Juan Santamaría International Airport in Costa Rica, after custom, there are lots of car rental inside the airport.If you have a reservation in hertz car rental they have shuttle going to there office just ask the guy in charge.
Just be careful to the scammers when you go exit in the airport,just don't trust them inmediately (i'm talking about taxi drivers,and the people outside the airport)if you don't have a car rental but if you do much better.
