علامہ اقبال مسلمانوں کی پسماندگی اور غربت سے بہت دکھی تھے۔اُنہوں نے ہندوستان کے مسلمانوں کو آزادی حاصل کرنے کی ترغیب دی۔آپ نے اپنی شاعری سے مسلمانوں میں ایک نییٰ روح پھونک دی۔آپ کی شاعری اُمید سے بھری ہے۔آپ نے ہندوستان کے مسلمانوں کے لیے ایک نیےٰ وطن کا مطالبہ کیا۔آپ اسلام اورپیغمبرِ اسلام کے سچے عاشق تھے۔آپ ایک عظیم فلاسفر بھی تھے۔ہمیں اپنے قومی شاعر پر فخر ہے۔
Allama Iqbal was greatly grieved at the poverty and backwardness of the Muslims. He urged the Indian Muslims to get freedom. He infused a new spirit among the Muslims through his verses. His poetry is full of optimism. He demanded a separate home land for the Muslims of India. He was a true lover of Islam and the Prophet of Islam. He was also a great philosopher. We are proud of our national poet.
