Ringwood Raceway 1989 British Open Banger Racing Vintage Footage inc Suicide Squad

Here is a video of some footage once again that isn't mine, this is content from an old camera man who used to film some racing in the late 1980s and early 1990s era at Ringwood Raceway Matchams and Ringwood Cheetahs Raceway, JR Videos.

This short highlights video features footage from the inaugural British open Banger Championship at Matchams Park Stadium aka Ringwood Raceway.

This video features various clips from the evening featuring both the 2 Litre and Unlimited cc British Open Championships for the Bangers. This meeting set the ball rolling for the "Open" type Banger events in the UK which very much helped the Stadium and Dirt track drivers come together which was a rare sight back in this day of Banger racing for a period.

Much of the focus of this footage includes the famous Bexley Suicide Squad invasion from their Arena Essex base as well as other teams and drivers including the Brighton Bashers, Animals, Bears, Ant Hill Mob, The Silly Ones and many many more!

With this content being over 35 years old please bare in mind the picture quality isnt exactly HD ready and the sound is far from Dolby surround sound!
