Here and Now - Write, Create, Reflect (Online Bealtaine Exhibition)

The ‘Here and Now’ programme was a series of online creative workshops coordinated by the Regional Cultural Centre which invited Donegal based participants to engage in art journaling as a way of documenting their experience of life in Ireland at this time.

The project is funded by Keep Well – Community Resilience Campaign and aims to enable participants who have been particularly impacted by the effects of COVID-19 to engage with their wider community online in a meaningful way.

The programme was facilitated by artist and educator Anna West who provided weekly creative prompts, demonstrations and a platform for discussion and sharing. Participants used this as an opportunity to write, create and reflect in their art journals as well as creating individual artworks, a selection of which can be viewed here.
