To expand the SOLIDWORKS reverse engineering capabilities, new features are supported for Mesh BREP bodies in SOLIDWORKS 2020. The features include: Delete Hole, Face Delete with Delete and Fill, Trim with Mutual Trim, Surface Knit, Fillet, Chamfer, Draft, and Shell.
These newly supported features are helpful for reverse engineering 3D scanned models and other mesh/tessellated geometry. Mesh BREP (Boundary Representation) bodies can be solid or surface bodies converted from graphics bodies or classic SOLIDWORKS BREP bodies.
