We found this bumblebee this morning in the middle of the road this morning which was a very cold day and it was 100% going to get squished by a car as it wasn’t warmed up enough for it to fly yet. So we picked it up took it home and tried some maple syrup on her which she absolutely loved. When I took it out in the garden, once she had warmed up on my hand and had a good meal she flew away and then immediately came back and landed on the same finger which was wonderful.
