Republic Leaders Plot Against Palpatine (Deleted Scene)

Have you ever wondered if there were any other senators in Star Wars other than Padme Amidala and Bail Organa who tried to stop Palpatine’s plan on taking over the galaxy? Well in this deleted scene for Revenge of the Sith, we actually see a handful of senators planning to step in and rebel against Palpatine! This scene was very interesting to watch as we see that near the end of the Republic, senators were getting restless of how the war was going! The clone wars tv show was able to bridge that gap a little and show us more of the pushback of other senators but it would have been cool to see it in the movies as well other than Padme and Bail! I also think it’s a little amusing how this senator right here sounds like the actor Dick Van Dyke!
