Okuda, Nakashima Shakuhachi/Shamisen Nanaimo Concert Oct 06 2024

A concert of traditional Japanese music took place at St Andrews United Church in Nanaimo, BC. Atsuya Okuda (Shakuhachi -Japanese bamboo flute) and his wife Kazuko Nakashima (Shamisen -3 stringed traditional instrument) took to the stage, gave beautiful performances and demonstrated their mastery of their craft.
Note: a previous version of this performance was uploaded, but a couple of minor errors were found. Corrections have been made and now we are confident that all content is correct.
