Join me for an unforgettable day trip to Edinburgh, Scotland! This vlog captures the magic of a perfect summer's day exploring one of the UK's most iconic cities.
My adventure began by walking up the historic Royal Mile, the heart of Old Town Edinburgh, to the mesmerizing sound of traditional Scottish bagpipes – an absolutely authentic Edinburgh experience! The atmosphere was electric, leading me straight to the majestic Edinburgh Castle.
I had pre-booked my Edinburgh Castle tickets (a must-do, especially on a busy day!), and what a day it was! We hit the hottest day of the year, a scorching 27°C (that's 80°F for my US friends!) under a deep blue sky, making the castle views truly breathtaking. My Edinburgh Castle tour revealed centuries of Scottish history, from the Crown Jewels to Mons Meg – every corner told a story!
After soaking in the history, I descended the picturesque and Instagrammable Victoria Street, famous for its colorful shops and unique architecture, leading me to the vibrant Grassmarket. To top off an incredible day, I enjoyed a delicious Italian meal outdoors in the Grassmarket, soaking up the fantastic buzzing atmosphere. The perfect end to a perfect Edinburgh day out!
