How to Answer "Why Commercial Law?" in a Law Firm Interview

Hi everyone!

Last week we discussed 4 practical tips to help you prepare for your law firm interviews, now let's move onto the interview itself.

The likelihood is that you will be asked "Why commercial law?" at all of your interviews, meaning that the interviewer will have heard thousands of answers to this question - we want to make yours stand out!

In this video I do a deep dive into why the interviewer is asking this question, to give you a better idea of how to hit the key points that they're looking for in your answer. I'll give you some examples of 'weaker' answers and what to generally avoid, and round off with helping you through the process of improving your own answer.
