• A sprained ankle is the stretching or tearing of ankle ligaments, which support the joint by connecting bones to each other.
• Ankle sprain Is common in Young age, old age , athletes, basketball players and also in footballers
• Mechanism of injury:
The most common mechanism of injury in lateral ankle sprains occurs with forced plantar flexion and inversion of the ankle as the body's center of gravity rolls over the ankle. The ATFL followed by the CFL are the most commonly injured ligaments.
• Treatment Protocol:
