This is the first attempt at an idea I’ve been tinkering with. How to I take a piece of recorded music from a single source (computer, phone, etc.) and run it through several different effects chains?
I got a splitter that split a single signal into four parts, no bpm syncing necessary. Each signal gets its own effects chain, and goes into a mixer with its own on-board effects. This allowed me to create loops in one chain, destroy them, and create a new composition on the fly. Eventually, I will bring the original back in, but this is where I began.
The original piece is Bach’s Prelude in B Minor.
