Los prados de la Cordillera Cantábrica más allá de su aprovechamiento agrario albergan un papel fundamental de cara al gran recurso alimenticio que suponen para numerosas especies silvestres, muchos son los gatos monteses, zorros, armiños, rapaces, etc. las que hacen de estos parajes (en la mayoría de casos de origen antrópico) sus cazaderos. Es por ello que resulta fundamental conservar este tipo de ecosistemas mosaico, ya que más allá de mostrar las características culturales y regionales de un territorio, albergan una gran biodiversidad y una valiosa riqueza natural.

En el caso del vídeo, dos zorros prueban suerte a la caza de topillos en una zona de prados ubicada en el Alto Sil, León. Afortunadamente para uno de ellos, la cacería resultó satisfactoria.

That is why it is essential to conserve this type of mosaic ecosystem, since beyond showing the cultural and regional characteristics of a territory, they are home to great biodiversity and valuable natural wealth.

In the case of the video, two foxes try their luck hunting voles in an area of ​​meadows located in Alto Sil, León. Fortunately for one of them, the hunt was successful.
