Let's dig into my personal W166 ML350 Bluetec and replace the rear shock absorbers, as well as remove and replace the front brake discs and pads.
While its an easy enough job, it will take a full day.
This process will apply similar to any W166 GLE, ML Benz, as well as partially similar to a C292 GLE Coupe!
Tools handy to have:
Patience & strength
Torx set (male & female)
Torx screwdrivers
Trim removal pry tools
Small / medium size picks and clip tools
Socket set with sizes up to 27mm, down to 8mm
Breaker bar
Torque wrench capable of up to 150NM
Collection of sprays: WD40, Silicone Lube, Vaseline, Rust Blaster
