AKC Scent Work - Interior Master Search
We now have to search three rooms. Despite my caption showing how many hides are in each room, we don't know that when we start the search. Each room may contain between zero and three hides. That’s right - zero. It’s possible for a room to have nothing in it.
The trial ends as soon as we make an incorrect call or finish a room without finding all the hides.
Another change in Master is that we no longer get a 30-second warning. The beeps you hear are a timer I'm carrying. I’ve set my timer to beep twice: once when 30 seconds remain, so I know it’s time for a final sweep, and again at five seconds, so I know to make the call if I think we’re on a source or done with the room.
Bertie nailed the first two rooms and, with a few more seconds, would have gotten the third. But it wasn’t meant to be. So we take the NQ - but we’ll be back.
