Sensation Reconstruction with DIEP Flap

Video 6: DIEP Answers. An Education Series dedicated to raising awareness about DIEP flap breast reconstruction.

In this video Dr Joe explains a new procedure that aims to improve the sensation in breasts after mastectomy and DIEP flap breast reconstruction, and also how sensation around the abdomen is affected. Women are encouraged to speak with their medical team about what can be done in their circumstance, as this is a new and rapidly evolving area.
