Slieve Commedagh is a 767-metre mountain located in the Mourne Mountains of County Down in Northern Ireland. A popular hiking spot, it offers spectacular views of the surrounding area and the Irish Sea. The peak is crowned by a cairn, located just a few metres from the summit. The peak is connected to nearby Slieve Donard, the highest peak in the Mournes, by a ridge that is often traversed as part of a hike.
Slieve Commedagh is home to a wide array of flora and fauna and is an important habitat for red grouse and many other species. The mountain is popular with hikers of all abilities and offers a range of routes to the summit, from a gentle stroll to more challenging scrambles.
