Take a whirlwind tour of Casper Voogt’s mineral travels in Russia, Myanmar, Madagascar, Morocco, and Cyprus. Casper tells us about collecting he has done in exotic places where he has crawled into holes in the ground and bought minerals directly from the people who dug them up. It’s a great trip for all of us who will never get to these places, and wish we could.
Casper is an avid world traveler and a part-time mineral dealer. He runs a web development company and serves as webmaster for our club and others. His academic background is in architecture and he holds degrees from Princeton and Georgia Tech. He has lived in Aruba, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United States.
