The Audi SQ5 is the high-performance variant of the Audi Q5, blending sporty dynamics with everyday practicality. Introduced in 2013, the first-generation SQ5 was a game-changer as Audi’s first S-model SUV. Initially, it was powered by a 3.0-liter TDI V6 diesel engine producing 313 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque, marking a strong performance-oriented diesel SUV for the European market. Later, Audi introduced a 3.0-liter supercharged petrol V6 with 354 horsepower, catering to global markets, particularly North America.

In 2017, the second-generation SQ5 debuted, switching to a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 petrol engine, delivering 354 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission and Audi’s legendary quattro all-wheel drive. This generation focused on improved handling, efficiency, and luxury while incorporating Audi’s latest Virtual Cockpit, MMI infotainment system, and adaptive air suspension for better ride dynamics.

By 2021, Audi updated the SQ5 with a refreshed design, improved interior tech, and mild-hybrid technology (MHEV) in its 3.0-liter TDI diesel engine for European markets, producing 341 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, ensuring both performance and efficiency.
