Foxbody Convertible Rear Seat Delete! (Farm Find Fox!)

Today we delete the rear (useless bench seat) for the Foxbody! I recently went through the process of amplifying all of the speakers, and the only good location I could find for the amp was where the upright of the rear seat was! Oh well, I never liked that seat anyways. This is a simple and easy way to delete the rear seat for a Foxbody Mustang. I drilled into the rear bar, but you may want to rig up a bracket if you are concerned about the looks. I have seen examples similar to this that look great with the convertible boot installed. This should be very similar to Foxbody Coupes as well. This is directly applicable to 1983-1986 Ford Mustang Foxbody Convertibles, but may also be similar enough for 1987-1993 Ford Mustang Foxbody Convertibles.
Here are the dimensions of what I cut:
Base (near floor) 36" W x 8" H - Will need to custom cut the hump
Flat base (floor to back) 36" W x 19.5" L - You may be able to shorten this by ~2", however I would measure first
Upper Piece 36" W x 21" Tall
You will need 4 90 degree bends that are 4" long. You will also need QTY 2 3-4" bolts (+ washers and nuts) to bolt to the upright if you copy my bolting location
