I wasn’t sure what to expect when I began my trip to El Salvador. It was planned last minute, and the area I traveled to is considered very remote. So, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to find any authentic food in Mizata. Long story short, I was very impressed with the amount of options in the small area. The Pupusas were great, and I love the culture that comes with them. There was also a new omakase experience that used fresh, local seafood! Some of the foods that I tried weren’t my favorite (like the pizza). I wouldn’t have tried it initially but I was told that it’s very popular with the locals in that area, so why not? You won’t always have the best dining experience, but it’s important to expand your horizons, and try your best to embrace a new culture. I would love to go to San Salvador and do another video on the immense amount of street food offered in the capital city! I really hope you guys enjoy the video!
