Hollywood actress Naomi Watts has recently taken on a new role - author, pioneer and advocate for menopausal women everywhere. She joins us to discuss her debut book ‘‘Dare I Say It: Everything I Wish I’d Known About Menopause’. She reveals how at 36 years-old, and on the precipice of starting a family, her doctor told her she was ‘close to menopause’ - making her fear she’d never work again. Plus, we find out how her Hollywood husband, Billy Crudup, helped her overcome her sense of shame around the menopause. Off the back of Naomi’s surprising admission that her mum never spoke to her about the menopause, it got our ladies thinking about who taught them about the menopause - if at all.
