Welcome back to our series all about syllable types. In today's video, we’ll be discussing open syllables. If you’ve been following along with our previous videos, you’re already familiar with how we map words with closed syllables and silent e syllables. And today we get to dive into open syllables, starting with single-syllable words, and then moving on to multisyllabic words. We will also get to discuss that tricky schwa sound that we often see in multisyllabic words with open syllables. Let’s get started!
