Is Your Indie Game Really Ready for Steam? (Bugs, Polish, Etc.)

After much though, research and suggestions, I decided the best options for my Indie Game is to release it as an Alpha for testing on more bugs and research. I did spend at least 6 month in the development. If you are a game developer do you think your game is ready for Steam?
