The lower portals at Mt Barney are a natural swimming hole with clear water and beautiful scenery nestled in the mountain range that divides Queensland and New South Wales.
the hike to get there is GRADE 4 and it took me about 1hr 30mins one way to get to this beautiful place.
Although it was challenging doing it with a badly bruised heel I will 100% be going back again!
I didn't get all the footage that I wanted either due to equipment failures but I hope this video has given you an idea of the place and a drive to get out there!
