The HP Pavilion 753n was an early Socket 478 desktop sold by Hewlett-Packard in 2002. It didn't perform the best, as evident by a review from Hardware Central, in which Quake III Arena only got ~45 FPS in 640x480 and only 17 in 1024x768. Was it a very internet-oriented PC? Perhaps.
The thing is, I only discovered midway through recording this that the board went bad between when I last featured this thing in a video and now. It already was a replacement board, but it seems a huge problem with these things is that they tend to have Asus motherboards which age poorly over time, not helped by the capacitor plague, and so it can be difficulty to constantly maintain one of these things.
Despite its shortcomings and being a trainwreck of a video, I hope you can still enjoy it. I want to make changes to the way my content looks and feels, but I don't have exact experience doing that just yet. Apologies, hopefully next week's video is better.
If I haven't said it already, it's hard to create unique blerbs for timestamps:
0:00 - Introduction
0:20 - Press Insights
1:53 - The design
2:50 - Ports and specs and whatnot
5:23 - The joke's getting stale, you get the point T_T
7:03 - Software
8:18 - Conclusion
