Celebrating 38 in Japan | 5 Days In Tokyo | food, kitchen shopping, traveling to Kyoto!

Join me on my birthday Trip to Japan! Tokyo is one of our favorite places to visit - All we do is eat, shop and walk around. I didn't vlog everything that we did but I'll put my recommendations down below. It is really affordable to travel to Japan right now but we still manage to overspend 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️. Team Labs - immersive museum experience
Coffee Mameya Kakeru - coffee tasting menu (this is different from their Omotesando location)
Kappabashi Street - a block of kitchen supplies; knives, ceramics, cooking supplies. Worth it for foodies.
Jin’s Glasses for affordable glasses
Yakuniku Onuki (the quality of meat is truly insane)
Tonkatsu Maisen Aoyama (tender, delish Tonkatsu. It’s in the Shibuya/Omotesando area so you could make it work)
** Nishiazabu Taku - the BEST omakase I’ve had, anywhere. Included lots of courses I’ve never had before. Get the Nichi Nichi sake.
I’m Donut? - multiple locations in Tokyo - the best donuts I’ve ever had. It will probably be a wait.

**** if you are traveling on the Shinkansen to other areas of Japan - we had a really hard time buying tickets online. It was easier for us to go to the train station the day before and buy tickets.
