Welcome to Weekly Vlog #436 🎄✨
In this week’s family vlog, we’re getting well and truly into the Christmas spirit as we prepare for the festive season.
On Monday, Lawrence and I headed into Manchester city centre for a Christmas shopping day. We visited B&M, The Works, Aldi, Lush and Lindt, picking up gifts, festive treats and a few little extras. After shopping, we stopped for lunch at KFC before heading home.
On Tuesday, we did even more Christmas prep with a trip to our local Home Bargains, stocking up on bits for the children’s Christmas Eve boxes and stockings. Later that day, I caught the train to Liverpool for a festive theatre treat — a trip to see Matilda the Musical.
Before the show, I grabbed dinner at the pub inside the station, then headed to the theatre for the 7pm performance, where I was seated second row in the stalls. The show was absolutely fantastic, and I had such a brilliant evening.
I didn’t film for the rest of the week, as it was spent getting everything ready for Christmas, catching up on editing, and enjoying a quieter run-up to the big day.
