Sega Saturn Restoration - Retrobrite, region free bios, modchip!! Custom console - Retro Restore!

In this retro restore video we attempt to do a full restoration on a Sega Saturn Model 2, from junk to beauty. In addition to the restoration we will end up with a modded sega saturn that is a total custom sega saturn.

This thing has seen better days... not only is it sun bleached and yellowed, but it is caked in dirt and filth! Restoring this console is a TALL order!

Getting the console back in working order is one thing, but in this episode we are going well beyond that. We are going to up the stock aesthetics of the console by modernizing it and making it the way I wish SEGA would have.

In this video we are going to:

LED Mod the system with SEGA blue LEDs
Add Region Free Bios to allow the console to play games from any region including Japan, US, and PAL regions
Phantom ic Mod Chip to allow for back-up and homebrew
RetroBright (retrobrite) - i.e. de-yellow/ remove the yellow from the console
Replace Laser Assembly to make the console read games like brand new
Deep clean the system
