A federal judge out of Maryland has issued a durable preliminary injunction in the case involving Trump's ban on DEI--diversity, equity, and inclusion--so now there's something proper for the White House to appeal to a higher court.
Of course, there's still the larger constitutional point that inferior court trial judges lack the authority to restrain or enjoin the Article II Executive Branch on any of its core and plenary powers.
Let’s talk about this particular preliminary injunction, note some interesting characteristics of this particular judge, and talk about the broader implications of all this.

Also, if you stick the end, I’ll share with you the order that was just released from the Supreme Court on a different TRO that was appealed by the White House right up to the highest court of the land—that’s the TRO that was granted to the Special Counsel Hampton Dellinger of the country club Dellingers who was fired by Trump, and who the trial court has ordered Trump to hire back.
