‘Absolutely epic’: Businesses jump on viral Coldplay kiss cam trend with their own memes

Sky News host Freya Leach has commented on companies jumping on a trend mocking a pair who were caught having an alleged affair at a Coldplay concert.

Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his chief people officer were caught embracing at a Coldplay concert last week on the kiss cam, before quickly ducking out of the way, which raised eyebrows.

Mr Byron resigned from Astronomer after the incident blew up on social media, with many poking fun at the two’s actions at the Coldplay concert.

“It has been absolutely epic – a bunch of businesses are jumping on the trend, and I think that’s been the best part of this whole saga,” Ms Leach said.

“Terrible for them and their families but great for the memes.”
