7 days in Amalfi is simply not enough, which is why I planned this trip thoroughly for a great experience. I stayed at the Grand Hotel Sant'Orsola, a family owned hotel in a small town called Agerola, just £2.40 and a 45 min commute to the Amalfi Coast. Thee most beautiful hotel ever with a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
While in Amalfi, I hiked the Path of Gods starting from Bomerano to Positano which took 3-3.5 hours. Then from Positano, I did a sunset boat tour where we sailed along the Amalfi Praiano coast and got to see the famous Fiordo Di Furore Bridge.
I took a ferry from Amalfi to Capri which is a about a 1.5-2 hour boat ride, approx £30 round trip. Once you arrive in Capri, you will be hit with the fresh smell of the sea and grilled mediterranean dishes. I def recommend getting fried anchovies and/or sardines as a beach snack as you lounge around and tan. While in Capri, don't forget to visit the city center and take the cable cart up to Anacapri, where you can get beautiful panoramic views of Capri. If you're lucky, you may even get to see goats!!
Positano was definitely my goal destination, but like many others have said, there is so many other places you can stay instead for a fraction of the price, and a peace of mind. Positano is a really small Island, which can only be traveled by foot. I wouldn't recommend ruining your Amalfi coast trip lugging a suitcase up 500+ steps. I'd def recommend staying in Agerola as it is very afforadble and commuting is super easy via the SITA Bus.
Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this vlog just as much as I did filming/editing it. Please like, comment, and subscribe!
