Описание:
Four Way adjustable log splitter wedge made from AR400 plate is finally welded. I'm am sharing the process I used, we will know soon if the wings hold, or snap off.
Mill scale was cleaned
Steel was pre-heated to 250° (ish)
Inter-pass weld temp was held below 450°
The finished part was drawn down slowly with one post-heat cycle with rosebud
Allowed to under Welding glove "blanket"
