Kootu Curry | കൂട്ടുകറി
Another unavoidable dish in kerala onam sadya.
In this recipe kootu curry is made using 4 vegetables.
vegetables are cooked in spices and coconut. Roasted coconut is added to the curry in the end which gives beautiful color and aroma to the curry.

Ingredients
Yam 1 c
Raw banana 1 c
Ash gourd 1 c
Black chick pea 1 c
Water 3/4 c + stock water
Salt
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Chili powder 1/2 tsp
pepper powder 1 pinch
For crushing:
Coconut 1/2 c
Cumin 1/4 tsp
For roasting
Oil 1 1/2 tbsp
Mustard 3/4 tsp
cumin 1/8 tsp
coconut 1 1/2 c
Dry chilli 2
Curry leaves few
