All You Need to Know About Ayodhya Ram Mandir
The Uttar Pradesh administration is rushing to fulfill the December 2023 deadline by completing phase one of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Ram Temple, one of the largest temples erected in India after independence, is said to be a blend of modern technology amenities with age-old Indian customs.
Background:
The Mughal monarch Babur erected the Babri Masjid between 1528 and 1529. Members of the Hindu community, on the other hand, claimed ownership of the location, believing it to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. The location was later declared contested, resulting in a lengthy legal fight.
On November 9, 2019, the Supreme Court resolved the title matter by accepting the 2.77 acres of contested land as Lord Ram’s birthplace, opening the path for the construction of the Ram Mandir.
Preparation to lay the foundation stone for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir:
Following the Supreme Court’s decision, our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted the Bhumi Poojan ceremony and set the temple’s foundation stone on August 5, 2020.
Area and capacity of the Ayodhya Temple:
The temple space is about 2.7 acres in dimensions, spanning 54,700 square feet. The entire Ram Mandir Complex will span almost 70 acres and be capable of accommodating up to a million worshipers at any given moment.
The lifespan of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir:
“Each and every material that is being used in Ram Mandir…every arrangement and sketch that is being used in Ram Mandir…is being done in IIT Chennai,” says the architect. They are the pioneers. L&T and TCE then put it to the test. Eventually, we offered the Central Research Building Institute the testing course of action for our 1,000-year program. The CRBI has simulated the entire load that will be applied to the framework. In summary, we rely on the brightest minds in our country.
“There is just one aim: how to make this temple distinctive and lasting for 1,000 years,” Nripendra Misra, head of the temple building committee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, stated Asianet News in an latest conversation.
