Hi my name is Jemima, I'm 21 and was diagnosed with dyslexia when I was 15. I currently study medicine and midwifery at university in Australia while also running my own social enterprise Dyslexia Demystified. Myself and my team of dyslexic students help support other dyslexic young people to achieve their goals- academic or otherwise. Working with more than 2000 young people, we present keynotes, mentor younger dyslexic students, perform accessibility testing for new technologies and produce dyslexic friendly resources for our social media platforms.

In order to spread my positive message to more young people with dyslexia, I joined YouTube and started to create a channel based around dyslexia and related issues. I desperately want to remove the shame label associated with dyslexia and encourage all young people to take pride in who they are and how they think and find their tribe.
