wanted to try a little something different with this one by doing an ASMR style type video. by all means this is not a tutorial video but more of a example of the detail i go into when doing typical restorations on my cars. there's still a lot of good how-to in this video so if you're looking to do your own lights, the process is mostly the same. i didn't get to film me replacing the halo adjusters on the inside of the light but while they were apart i also replaced those. you can see them working at the end of the video when i turn on the lights you can see them auto adjust which means the repair worked. :)

one big thing to note if you're specifically rebuilding your late model e39 headlights: production dates 8/02 (august 2002) and onward have inseparable seals and require MUCH more work. you can find the production date on the back of the housing in a tiny clock looking stamp. the year will be in the center with an arrow pointing to the month of production.
