RTZ (Return to Zero) was an American melodic rock band formed in 1989 by former Boston members Brad Delp (vocals) and Barry Goudreau (guitar), alongside keyboardist Brian Maes, bassist Tim Archibald, and drummer David Stefanelli. Signed to Giant Records, they released their debut album, Return to Zero (1991), featuring hits like "Until Your Love Comes Back Around" (#26 US Pop) and "Face the Music." After extensive touring, Delp rejoined Boston in 1994, leading to the band’s initial breakup. Later releases, including Lost (1998) and Lost and Found (2004), compiled unreleased tracks, and the band reunited for a 2007 tribute single, "Set the Songbird Free," following Delp’s death. RTZ’s music, rooted in AOR with strong hooks, remains tied to their Boston legacy.
