Poynton Town Centre Walk

Our walk through Poynton Town Centre begins outside The Kingfisher Pub on London Road South. From there, we head up toward St George’s Church and stroll down Park Lane taking in the variety of local independent shops and restaurants along the way and finish at Waitrose.

Poynton town centre in Cheshire, England, is known for its innovative shared space scheme, which replaced traffic lights with a pedestrian-friendly layout to improve safety and reduce congestion. At the heart of the town is Park Lane, a lively street lined with independent shops, cafés, and local businesses, all set against the backdrop of the scenic Cheshire countryside.
