Major construction of the fourth and final phase to complete the remaining – and most difficult – 4.8 kilometre section of the Kicking Horse Canyon Project began in early 2021.
Crews have turned a narrow, winding two-lane mountain road into a modern four-lane, 100 km/h standard highway.
